How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

Pets are a part of the family, and so we clean up after them as well! During service we recommend that you do keep your pet somewhere they will be comfortable — not all of our furry friends like the sound of vacuums or unfamiliar people in their space. If you have a lot of pets  or a lot of traffic on your carpets, then we recommend every three  months for a good deep soil cleaning.  If you're a commercial carpet  cleaning customer, it also depends on traffic. If you run a high traffic  business such as a restaurant, we recommend monthly carpet cleaning  service. This keeps your facilities clean and makes sure you meet health  code rules. If you run a back office that doesn't get a lot of traffic,  then every 3-6 months is fine.

In fact, all major carpet manufacturers recommend  that you do request your carpet cleaner to re-apply it immediately after  they have been cleaned with a steam-extraction method.  Stainguard/Scotchguard is already on your carpet when purchased. Over  time though, it can be worn down from normal wear and tear of walking on  it and, when using a steam-extraction method of cleaning, the stain  guard will be stripped off because of the deep cleaning. We highly  recommend re-applying the stain guard immediately after the cleaning to ensure your carpets stay in top notch shape for years to come!

To avoid permanent changes  in the dyes and fibers, it is important to immediately absorb as much of  the liquid as possible. Then apply a cleaning solution as recommended  by the manufacture and blot the area with white  towel. This  process is continued until all excess solution is removed from the  textile. If the area smells of ammonia or shows signs of damage, it will  be necessary to contact us and have it cleaned and possible restored.
